Indie filmmaker Perry Janes is the brains behind ZUG, an eerie short work where Detroit city and urban legends go bump in the night. ZUG had to infiltrate the minds of film festival-goers. The modus operandi was a pay-it-forward promotional push on a shoestring. 150 hand printed posters, designed with a nod to the streets of the Motor City, formed the basis of the campaign. Corkboard-worthy handbills and collectible buttons added to the grassroots swell.
